Sharks Ice at San Jose and the San Jose Jr. Sharks invite you to its 18th Annual Pacific District U.S. Regional Silver Stick® Tournament. Come spend your Thanksgiving Weekend playing hockey in beautiful San Jose, CA!

Our goal is to provide a positive tournament experience and great competition at various age divisions and levels. Games will start on Thanksgiving Day, with some local teams possibly playing Wednesday night.

Winners in each division will advance to the Silver Stick® Finals.

Each year, after the International Silver Stick® Finals, a plaque is placed in the Hockey Hall of Fame’s Silver Stick display listing the team names of all the new champions!

 

Thanksgiving Mitey Mite & Mini-Mite Showdown

Friday, November 24 – Sunday, November 26

Open to 8U (Mite)  & 6U (Mini-Mite) teams - House & Travel level

Team entry fee: $1300

Registration deadline: Friday, November 10th

Number of games: 9 guaranteed

Team managers will be notified of the schedule by the evening of Friday, November 18th. 

Round Robin games Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th.

Championship & Consolation games on Saturday, November 27th.

Game format: Each game will be played as half-ice with 4 players per team, with a two minute warm-up and one 28-minute run-time period.

Included in the team fee are participation gifts for each player and Championship gifts for each member of the winning team.

All teams must have a USA Hockey-certified Mite or mini mite roster.

Only players and coaches on the roster will be allowed on the ice during games.

The Silver Stick® International tournament is in its 65th year of hosting hockey tournaments across North America! Our Regional tournaments are unique in that if you are a Champion of the Division that you have competed in, this entitles you to the right to participate in an International Finals tournament, competing against other teams who had been successful in winning their Regional Qualifying tournament.
